Our Father...

We are children of a God who dwells among us and in each one of us. God desires reverence and adoration, and has made language as a vehicle for this expression. We can intuitively know the building blocks of His Kingdom, and we are to construct a fascimile wherever we are at the present time. We need to gather together with all people who believe in the Transcendent and with those who don't to discern and discuss the tools He has given us for this task. We can only do this by following His path of Love and Mercy. Our eros needs to be dirrected toward God, so that we may have the energy to struggle with the evil of ignorance.

OK, the big question (aside from those you've posed) is - WHAT are you doing up at 3:50 AM on ANY given day? Yikes!

Beautiful thoughts, brother - but go back to *sleep*!

So was it a *very* early morning, or a *very* long night?

I agree with you, by the way, that we are given knowledge of the "building blocks of His kingdom" (though I'm not sure how intuitive some of those blocks are), but I'd posit that it is our call to be involved in the building of the Kingdom - not just an earthly facsimile. We are in the "already/not-yet" of time - when Christ has defeated death but Satan is still rampant - and so we are living in the time of Christ's lordship even as we are subjects to temptation and sin. So every step we take toward the Kingdom is bringing its presence on earth even closer to fullness.

Having said that, I'd have to say that if I ever FIND my *eros* (and get it out of mothballs) it will take some effort to get it directed toward God...[::sighing:: hoping that "more will be revealed" on that score...]
